These two models are the complete replacement products for E4980A and E4980AL precision LCR meters.
New E4980B and E4980BL Precision LCR Meters
The E4980B and E4980BL precision LCR meters for industry and laboratory provide the ideal combination of accuracy, speed, and versatility for a wide range of component measurements. The instruments operate at test frequencies from 20 Hz to 300 kHz, 500 kHz, 1 MHz, or 2 MHz, depending on the model. Operation is simple and intuitive thanks to the clear front panel and 7-digit display with 6 display types.
The E4980B/BL offer high measurement speed and excellent performance in both low and high impedance ranges, making them the basic tool for general R&D and manufacturing testing of components and materials. LAN, USB and GPIB PC connectivity enhances your design and test productivity. The E4980B/BL support a wide range of accessories for numerous applications to make measurements easy and reliable.
Differences between the current A models and B models are very limited in both hardware and software. There is no difference in the measurement performances such as accuracies, functionalities, and throughput, and there is full command compatibility between A and B. This allows you to migrate from A models to B models seamlessly.
